for Graduating Foster Care Seniors
Travis County has approximately 60 Foster Care Seniors who are graduating High School in May 2025. The Austin Quilt Guild has volunteered to make 5 large throw/twin sized quilts for gifts to these young adults as they embark on the next phase of their journey.
We will press and cut and sew like the wind to create 4 quilts (2 each day) for these amazing young men and women.
There is no charge for this day. Please register and help us show these young people that The Austin Area Quilt Guild CARES!
Supplies: Fabric and Pattern provided by Guild
Bring to workshop: Sewing Machines, neutral colored thread and notions needed for sewing. We need two volunteers to bring Accuquilt system for faster cutting.
