This is a two-night retreat for a maximum of 9 people at the Pinwheel Place Retreat Center, 2795 Westwood Road, Lockhart, TX. The cost of this event is $110. Check in is at 10:00 am and check out is at 3:00 pm.
It's a great time to sew with friends, shop at the quilt store in Luling or enjoy the world-famous local barbeque. Best Sewing room around. 3 - 4ft tables person and excellent lighting with design walls etc. Meals will not be provided. Please bring your own food or we can go out. There are plenty of local restaurants in the area to try.
There are 3 bedrooms and 9 beds. Each person will have their own bed, linens and quilts. Please bring your own pillow. In the kitchen you’ll find dishes, glasses, silverware, basic cooking pans and utensils. Appliances include refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, range with oven, coffee maker and toaster.
There are 3 full bathrooms with showers, and 1 half bath in the separate sewing studio. Towels, shampoo, body wash are provided.
For relaxing when not being creative, there is a gathering room with TV, couch, table and chairs. Other amenities include an available washer and dryer, and WIFI. For more information about the facility go to

It's a great time to sew with friends and shop at the quilt stores in Wimberly and New Braunfels. Check-in is noon on Friday and check-out is at 3:00 pm on Sunday. The spacious design studio at Mountain Laurel provides each guest with their own six foot table and a rolling chair. There are three ironing stations with irons, a cutting station with three cutting mats, and fifteen 4' x 8' design walls. Power strips are provided and plenty of extra outlets.
There are three bedrooms with one bed per person, and three full bathrooms. Pillows, quilts and towels are provided. Bring a quilt for a Saturday show and tell.
