The AAQG supports quilting Bees for our members to promote our love of quilting and to enhance community among members.
Each Bee has a designated Bee Keeper (host) and Bees vary in size based on the space available. See below for the list of AAQG Bees. Contact the designated Bee Keeper if you're interested in visiting a Bee to try it out. Keep in mind that a CLOSED Bee merely indicates the Bee has reached capacity. Perhaps they meet in members' homes and there is only room for a certain number or the facility they meet in has limited workspace or tables.
Our Bee Coordinator (Queen Bee) can connect members interested in joining a Bee with potential Bee Keeper(s). Email the Bee Coordinator to be matched based on location, schedule availability and theme. Potential members can visit a Bee and decide if they want to join.
While guild membership is not required to participate in a quilting Bee, at least 50% of the members of an AAQG Bee should be members of the guild. Click here to join the guild.
