Guild Meetings need helpers:

Guild meetings need members to perform various tasks.  Help greet members and visitors as they arrive, hand out door prize tickets, assist the presenter, hold up show and tell quilts, and pass out handouts.  Sign up to help out during a morning or evening meeting by selecting the appropriate link below:

Area Coordinator positions critical to the success of the show remain unfilled.  If you’re interested in leading one of the below Show Areas or would like more information to help you decide, please email showchair@aaqg.org

Show Area

Coordinator Position Description:

Demonstrations

Solicits and schedules volunteer guild members to demonstrate Quilting techniques during the show

Grants

Submits applications on the guild’s behalf for grants to support the show

Merchandise

Selects show-branded merchandise, arranges vendor(s) for online sales, and oversees merchandise sales during the show.

Opening Night

Plans, prepares for, and facilitates the opening night event

Quilt Check-In/ Check-out

Develops the check-in and check-out processes for the quilts entered in the show. Trains and supervises the volunteers who take in quilts prior to the show and return quilts to their owners after the show closes.

Show Program

Designs and creates a print-ready show program; collaborates with the Advertising Coordinator to collect the paid ads content for the program; Arranges a printer to produce the programs; Ensures printed programs are delivered to the show and available to attendees.

Show Signage

Creates and hangs the way-finding signs for the show
