This is a three night retreat for a maximum of 9 people at the Pinwheel Place Retreat Center, 2795 Westwood Road, Lockhart, TX. The cost of this event is $180. Check in is at 10:00 am and check out is at 3:00 pm.
It's a great time to sew with friends, shop at the quilt store in Luling or enjoy the world famous local barbque. Meals will be provided and your coordinator, Helen Gnuetchel, will collect a meal fee from everyone at the retreat which will be less than $50 per person depending on what the group sets for the menu.
Registration opens 90 days prior to the event. As a courtesy to other members we ask that you not register for two consecutive small retreats so that all members may have a chance to attend a small retreat.
There are 3 bedrooms and 9 beds. Each person will have their own bed, linens and quilts. Please bring your own pillow. In the kitchen you’ll find dishes, glasses, silverware, basic cooking pans and utensils. Appliances include refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, range with oven, coffee maker and toaster.
There are 3 full bathrooms with showers, and 1 half bath in the separate sewing studio. Towels, bath, hand and wash cloths, are provided.
For relaxing when not being creative, there is a gathering room with TV, couch, table and chairs. Other amenities include an available washer and dryer, and WIFI. For more information about the facility go to
