• Scissors, seam ripper, thimble, note paper, pencil or pen
• Hand sewing needles, thread to match fabrics
•  Four fat quarters-two of the fat quarters should be patterned, with a minimum of 4 repeats of the same motif for fussy cutting.  Two can be solids or small pattern that reads close to a solid
