About the Instructor: Ellen Carter is a celebrated miniature quilt artist whose work, along with that of her sister Andrea Blackhurst, has been featured in multiple exhibitions at the Houston Quilt Festival, including the 40th anniversary Ruby Jubilee Celebration, the 45th Sapphire Celebration, and most recently in "Red, White, and Blue Traditions in Miniature" at the Festival's 50th anniversary.

Required Materials:
1/2 yard of white fabric
1/4 yard red fabric (or any other color you want) Optional,
1/8 yard green fabric, if you would like to make the trees green
Sewing machine with 1/4" foot, don't forget cord and foot pedal
Neutral thread
Cutting mat,
rotary cutter and small rulers,
6 1/2" square if you have one EZ angle tool Companion angle tool
