Judging Coordinator

Duties
  • Select judges in coordination with Show Co-Chairs
  • Provide judge bios to Show Webmanager
  • Assist in the design of judges' critique form, awards lists and verification of awards form
  • Handle judging days' activities including scribes, information on quilts to be judged and critique forms
  • Arrange for contracts, transportation, lodging, food, fees, and reimbursement of judges
  • Review awards and ribbons attached to quilts after Awards committee is finished to make sure all quilts received the correct award.
  • Prepare and print list of award recipients to be distributed with the printed program by Admissions/ Entrance
  • Prepare list of award recipients for Opening Night Committee person
  • Maintain records of expenses and receipts, working closely with the Treasurer and Co-Chairs to stay within budget
  • Recruit assistants and committee members through Volunteer Coordinator
  • Write thank-you notes as appropriate.
  • Maintain records of expenses and receipts, working closely with the Treasurer and Show Co-Chairs to stay within budget.
  • Maintain list of helpers who assisted you (besides show volunteers), and give to the Volunteer Coordinator.
  • Prepare information for publication in Quips and/or special publications.
  • Prepare final report and update committee notebook.
