Awards Coordinator
Duties
- Determine design for awards in accordance with show theme, to be approved by the Show Co-Chairs.
- Insure that proper number and types of awards and ribbons are made and can be properly attached to the quilts.
- Provide nametags for Judges, Co-Chairs and Guild President for wear during the Show.
- Provide nametag designations for award recipients, to be presented at Opening Night.
- Provide to the Judging Committee Chairperson a momento for every quilt entered in the show, such as a small quilt label.
- Attach the awards and ribbons to the quilts prior to the show opening.
- Recruit assistants and committee members through Volunteer Coordinator or separately, if needed.

- Write thank-you notes as appropriate.
- Maintain a list of all volunteers who assist you and provide this information to the Volunteer Coordinator after the show.
- Maintain records of expenses and receipts, working closely with the Treasurer and Co-Chairs to stay within budget.
- Prepare information for publication in Quips and/or special publications.
- Prepare final report and update committee notebook.
