About Austin Area Quilt Guild's 2008 Quilt Show "A Legacy of Quilts" Pearls of Wisdom from Our First 30 Years September 26-28, 2008 Show Hours New Crockett Center 10601 N. Lamar Austin, Texas The 2008 AAQG Quilt Show will feature these and other attractions: Over 400 quilts Over 40 vendors Special Exhibits Childrens' Activities Donation Quilt Boutique of hand-made items Silent Auction Free Parking Demonstrations throughout each day Conservation information Appraisals by appointment On-site food service, plus many nearby eateries A word from our 2008 Quilt Show Co-Chairs: The theme for the 2008 show is “A Legacy of Quilts”. Since the guild will have been in existence for 30 years during 2008, we want to honor all that we have accomplished during these years. Further, we feel so privileged to have learned from our founding members that we want to celebrate their contributions and insight. As pearls are a traditional anniversary gift for the 30th wedding anniversary, our sub-theme is “Pearls of Wisdom from Our First 30 Years”.
