Show CD Coordinator
Duties
- Prior to show
- Design format of the CD
- Develop software techniques and write programs as necessary
- Obtain copy of entry database
- Coordinate with Photographer to plan scheduling and to practice techniques for transferring photos to digital images.
- Obtain logo images and images of donation quilt
- During show
- Be on-site while photos are being taken
- Assist in downloading photos to computer
- Evaluate each photo for lighting, color, framing quality and suggest re-take if necessary
- Verify naming convention for images to ensure accuracy
- After show
- Obtain final copy of entries database
- Obtain final copy of Show Program in PDF format
- Use software and developed programs to generate html for CD
- Verify accuracy of html data with input from photographer, web manager, and co-chairs and make corrections as necessary
- Prepare artwork for CD label
- Burn final version to CD and deliver to business chosen to reproduce copies
- Deliver copies to specialties coordinator
- Prepare slide show of award winners and post on the AAQG web site
- Write thank-you notes as appropriate.
- Maintain records of expenses and receipts, working closely with the Treasurer and Show Co-Chairs to stay within budget.
- Maintain list of helpers who assisted you (besides show volunteers), and give to the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Prepare information for publication in Quips and/or special publications.
- Prepare final report and update committee notebook.
