Admissions/Entrance Coordinator
Duties
- Purchase plastic food-handling gloves for use by quilt show attendees.
- Handle all aspects of advance admission ticket sales and complimentary tickets.
- Print 4 months in advance of show.
- Design and decorate entrance in cooperation with Floor Plan Coordinator in accordance with show theme, including viewer's choice ballot box.
- Order printing of viewer's choice ballot through the Artwork Coordinator
- Arrange for appropriate signs and equipment for entry areas.
- Arrange for wheelchairs at show and special admission of those needing handicap ramps.
- Recruit assistants and committee members through Volunteer Coordinator
- Count viewer's choice ballots.
- Prepare information for publication in Quips and/or special publications
- Keep track of attendance for each day of Show.
- Make list of who receives complimentary tickets and who used them.
- Write thank-you notes as appropriate.
- Maintain records of expenses and receipts, working closely with the Treasurer and Show Co-Chairs to stay within budget.
- Maintain list of helpers who assisted you (besides show volunteers), and give to the Volunteer Coordinator.
- Prepare information for publication in Quips and/or special publications.
- Prepare final report.(include attendance count by day, list of who received complimentary tickets) and update committee notebook.
