Biography:

A quiltmaker for nearly twenty years, Sandy has evolved from a hand quilter to an award-winning machine quilter. She is currently enrolled in the National Quilting Association's Certified Judge Program. She has done judging for a number of quilt shows and many county fairs across Texas.

She has entered quilts of her own in a number of Texas shows, including the International Quilt Show in Houston. An avid volunteer as well as quilter, Sandy volunteers her judging time and her teaching time for beginner quilting classes. Her other hobbies include reading, gardening, and skiing. She has been married for forty-one years and has three grown children as well as three grandchildren.
