Gift of Quilting

This special event is two days of workshops for AAQG members with classes taught by Guild members. It is presented during the spring of odd-numbered years as a "Thank You" for Guild members who volunteered and worked during the previous quilt show. A nominal registration fee is charged and sometimes a small kit fee is charged by the instructor; otherwise, the workshops are free. Volunteers from the quilt show get first-choice registation for the classes, so it does pay to volunteer at the show. We always have a good variety of workshops and a grand time.

The 2003 Gift of Quilting was a resounding success. The classes were great, the instructors were terrific, the camraderie wonderful, the door prizes greatly appreciated, and the coordinators outstanding. Here are just a few scenes from some of the classes. Thanks to Jo Lindberg for taking all the pictures. Check out you and your friends best shots!
