In addition to its activities for its members, the Guild sponsors a variety of projects in which members use their sewing and quilting skills to contribute to the Austin community. Some projects are Guild-wide; others are coordinated by individual bees. We have made quilts for hospitals and nursing homes, offered quilting demonstrations at Jourdan Bachman Pioneer Farm, brought quilting programs to local elementary schools, and made raffle quilts for local charities.
