I am seemingly compelled to buy old lace and linens when I go to garage sales. I have a large stash and enjoy arranging them, combining the various shades of beige and white. Something about gloves has also fascinated me. It is hard for me to imagine wearing them as an everyday accessory, so elegant, yet constricting. The addition of the cowry shells breaks up the space, adding another dimension of texture, time and place.
